Dear Mr. Potter,
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the fantastic job you and your employees did on our
retaining wall project. We are extremely pleased with the end product and look forward to many
years of enjoyment in our new backyard!
I wanted to comment on the professionalism and the courteousness of your employees as well. You
and your staff treated our property and family with the utmost respect and care as if they were your
own. I appreciate that.
As you know, it has taken some time for this project to be completed from inception. I understand
there was a lot of extraneous work involved like excavation and tree removal. Although it would have
been nice to have this project completed sooner, I would not trade the quality and care with which the
wall was built, just to save a couple of weeks time.
As I've stated before, I really liked the thoughts you brought to the table with the wall design and
appreciated your willingness to take time to educate me all throughout the process. You even took
the time early on to give me tips and suggestions regarding what types of questions to ask the other
contractors who were competing for the job. You added value to the project before you even earned
the job. That means more to me than the numbers on paper.
You really care about the walls you build and upon which you put your name. You build them
correctly and do not cut corners. That is something that is missing with a lot of folks these days as
everyone is in a rush to get the check and move on to the next job. This philosophy will earn you a lot
of satisfied customers and great references upon which to continue to grow your business.
In summary, thank you, again for sticking with this project and for the care and quality you put into it. It
was a pleasure working with you and your employees. If there are ever any potential customers who

defined when you started, the results have been a pleasure for us to enjoy. The overall design and
the flexibility you showed in adding steps and adapting to the lower patio requirements showed that

deadlines to the cleanup after completion.
We had our family reunion as planned in July and everyone was very impressed with the great work
